5 - 6 Italian sausage links (about 1¼ - 1½ pounds)

1 teaspoon kosher salt

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 large or 2 small onions, sliced

½ teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon pepper

1 red bell pepper, sliced

¼ - ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

2 tablespoons tomato paste
