12 ounces peeled whole tomatoes (canned)

15 ounces chickpeas, drained and rinsed

½ tsp coriander

½ tsp cumin

½ tsp mild curry powder

1 tsp garam masala

¼ tsp ground ginger

1 small onion, diced

a dash of red pepper flakes

½ tsp turmeric

1 cup vegetable broth

2 whole garlic cloves, minced
